Homework Policy
If your child is absent, please send in a hand-written note to his/her homeroom teacher excusing the absence. Additionally, any time a student misses my class it is his/her responsibility to make up any missed notes or work within a week of the absence.
For 6th graders this is a tremendous change from their elementary experience. Being held accountable for approaching their teachers to ask for missing homework and completing those assignments in a timely manner will be a struggle, but is a vital skill for future success.
